This series captures the beauty of one of the remaining "Great Camps" in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York. Built by Robert and Anna Pruyn in the late 1800's, Santanoni includes over 12,900 acres in the town of Newcomb, NY. In it's heyday, Santanoni had more than 45 buildings and was a fully self-sufficient working farm complex. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Santanoni is now owned by the State of New York and is being restored as a public preserve.
